The Maiden Voyage

Thanks for joining me!  Be sure to visit the virtuosotrader.com about page to learn more about this blog and me.  Here you will find posts related to trading analysis, theory, philosophy, strategy, methods, and tactics.  Also, I will be sharing the work of others to tap into the logic of successful traders.

For the maiden voyage, we begin with some amazing quotations that I have turned into mantras for living life.

“Don’t bother just to be better than your contemporaries or predecessors. Try to be better than yourself.” – William Faulkner

“Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self.” – Cyril Connolly

“Nothing in life is forever, not even your troubles.” – Charles Chaplin

“A designer [or engineer] knows he [or she] has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.” – Antoine de Saint-Expury

“When I examine myself and my methods of thought, I come close to the conclusion that the gift of imagination has meant more to me than any talent for absorbing absolute knowledge.” – Albert Einstein

“Style is Limitation.” / “If you truly express yourself, you will exceed the limitation of style.” – Bruce Lee

“We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.” – Native American proverbpost
